I have a challenge for everyone
My dad is diabetic and in kidney failure so he has to watch not only his sugar intake but his potassium intake, he is also supposed to increase his protein intake. This isn't a huge problem with regular meals but he's having a real problem finding snacks that he can eat.
Of course most cakes, candies, and cookies are out because they either have to much sugar or they have things like peanuts or peanut butter which is high in potassium.
So here's the challenge, I need snacks for dad that are high protein, low to no sugar, and very low to no potassium. I have no problem making the snacks homemade for him but if anyone knows anything store bought that might fit that would be great too!
